Gall Stones

Gallstones are solid stone-like structures of digestive juices, enzymes, and cholesterol deposited in the gall bladder. The gallbladder is a small pear-shaped pouch-like organ on the right side of the abdomen below the liver. The gallbladder holds the gastric enzymes like bile juices released from the liver to get secreted in the intestines.

Signs and symptoms of gallstones

A pain in the upper right side of the abdomen felt periodically typically signifies gallstone pain. The pain aggravates the consumption of a high-fat diet. On ignoring timely treatment, the following symptoms may arise.

Ayurveda and gallstones 

Ayurveda defines gallstones as pittashmari. Here pitta signifies an imbalance of pitta dosha in the gallbladder. The word ashmari means stone in Sanskrit. Pittashmari occurs due to the mixing of Kapha dosha and the pitta dosha that dries and hardens in the presence of vatadosha.

How to use the health pack for gallbladder stones

Mix ingredients one to three and grind them to make a fine powder. Consume 3/4th teaspoon of this powder thrice daily with water.

Divya Ashmarihar kwath is herbal tea for stones. Take one teaspoon of the mixture in two cups of boiling water. Boil until the water remains half. Consume it twice daily or as directed by the physician.
