Definition

Eosinophilia refers to a chronic disorder in there is an excessive production of specific type of white blood cells known as eosinophills. Although these blood cells are found in the bone marrow and these exist in the bloodstream as well as the gut lining however overproduction of these blood cells results in the condition known as eosinophilia.
